The Legacy
Where Distinction Meets Modern Sovereignty
A Distinguished Legacy
On October 17, 1962, visionary (late) Shri G.L. Shah, ICS, established Ellisbridge Gymkhana along with 52 founding members with guidance of Shri Arvind Narottam Lalbhai. For over six decades, what began as an intimate social hub has flourished into Ahmedabad's most prestigious club, now home to over 6,000 distinguished members.
Our journey spans more than six decades of unwavering commitment to excellence. Nestled in the cultural heart of Ahmedabad on Netaji Marg, we are located with the middle of the city's finest location, surrounding the British Library, Law Garden, and renowned art galleries—creating an enclave where tradition and refinement converge.
"We provide a sanctuary where generations gather, friendships flourish, and memories are crafted."
